with Kantorei (Dr. Carol
Smith), hosted by the
Oschweizer
Kammerorchester (Herr
Urs Schneider),
producing 2 LP's of
content from the tour;
recorded in Saint Gallen,
Switzerland.

Chapman's local arts
associations and
experience include San
Antonio Mastersingers;
SPBSQSA; Liederkranz;
solo and ensemble
affiliations with SALT;
Alamo Heights United
Methodist Church (Bess
Hieronymus and Reid
Sellers); Laurel Heights
Methodist Church (Henry
Holloway); and is
currently an ad hoc
performer with SAC
Chamber Singers (Cindy
Barbier Sanchez), which
have included
performances with Texas
Bach Choir and Mid-Texas
Symphony.
Jay is a
foodie, developing a
cookbook; past president
of San Antonio Men's
Garden Club (organic
method vegetable
specialist); a personal
computer enthusiast; and
father of identical
twins, Elizabeth Jay and
Sarah Elise, who
currently attend Texas
Lutheran and Boston
Universities.
Jay, a
bass-baritone, is a
member of Congregation
Israel of San Antonio
and enjoys singing from
the pew as well as in
the chorale.
