Congregation Israel of San Antonio

As a spiritual and religious community we are always mindful of the sacredness f our deeds and our faith in God and each other.  Our sages recognized this in the phrases “im ayn Kemach, ayn Torah, without physical sustenance, there can be no Torah and learning,” and “Tzedek matzil mavet,” justice and charity rescue the health of a community.”

At Congregation Israel of San Antonio, our congregational community is becoming recognized as a progressive Jewish congregation of choice in San Antonio, blending the contemporary and the traditional of ritual practices.  Our lovely services and calendar of activities continue through the generosity of the community; our members and supporters supplement regular contributions of money, time and gifts of talent in so many areas.  They are “raising the heavens each day.”

We are proud now to offer the community the ability to help grow Congregation Israel of San Antonio on-line.  Here you may contribute toward your annual commitment, make a donation to an area of services or programming, honor a loved one, or recall their memory.  Our donation page has been designed to assist your choice.  All donations will be acknowledged in the regular course of the week and are credited to your choice within our general account; all transactions are secured through Vanco electronic services, known for their stellar work with many non-profit communities, just like ours.  We are a Texas religious 501c3 community.  All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
